Progynova injection may lead to some degree of fluid retention. Hence
patients with conditions that might be influenced by this factor, such as
asthma, epilepsy, migraine, and cardiac or renal dysfunction, call for careful
inspection when estrogens are prescribed.
Long term and
repeated use of natural and synthetic estrogens in certain animal species
increases the occurrence of carcinomas of the cervix, vagina, testis, breast,
uterus, and liver. Progynova (Japanese : プロギノバ ) should not be given to patients who have allergic to this drug or any of
its ingredients.
